Luton-Millwall gets revised kick-off time – to make it clash less with World Cup final

Millwall’s Championship match against Luton Town at Kenilworth Road on December 18 has been brought forward to a 11:30am kick off.

The match was due to be a midday start but that has been revised due to the World Cup final taking place later that day, to allow more time for fans to get back home to watch the Qatar showpiece.

The last time the two sides met it ended in a 2-2 draw – a Jake Cooper own goal cancelling out what looked like a Benik Afobe winner.

Millwall are back in action on Saturday against Wigan Athletic where they will be looking to get back to winning ways after their 3-0 defeat against Sunderland last Saturday.
