QPR boss wants up to four signings – as he believes sale of Eze to Palace can be “an opportunity”

Mark Warburton wants to bring in “three or four” more signings as Queens Park Rangers look to bolster their squad ahead of the new Championship campaign.
The Rangers boss is keen to bring in further reinforcements following the departure of Ebere Eze to Crystal Palace, having already brought in George Thomas, Luke Amos and Lyndon Dykes.
QPR have been linked with Oxford United defender Rob Dickie, who was not in the squad which defeated the R’s 1-0 at the Kassam Stadium. However, despite selling Eze, Warburton believes the situation could be an “opportunity” that the club can take advantage of.
Speaking after the defeat, he said: “He is [Eze] a top quality individual on the pitch and he is the same off the pitch.
“He has been an outstanding individual, and I don’t say that lightly. I have no doubt that, within two or three years, he will be at the very highest levels of the game.
“When you lose a player of that quality it is easy for any supporter to say: ‘You will be weaker for it’ – but it’s an opportunity.
“Our recruitment is far from finished. We are looking at bringing in three or four more [signings] at least. We know what we need to do.”
