Nigerian Festival UK celebrates the culture at Vauxhall Park June 17
This summer, a festival will showcase Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage.
Nigerian Festival UK is a day-long event coming to Vauxhall Park in Lawn Lane, Vauxhall, on June 17.
The festival aims to bridge the cultural gap between the generations of Nigerians living in the UK by offering a variety of entertainment.
The festival’s entertainment will be split between corners including Nigeria history corner, Nollywood corner, Arts and craft exhibitions corner, Taste of Africa food showcase and tasting corner, and many more.
If this isn’t enough for you
Organisers of Nigerian Festival UK, Ebony Ambassadors and Nigerian Students’ Union UK, are on a mission to bridge the cultural gaps among Nigerian youths and adults who have not had the opportunity to learn the customs and traditions of their motherland due to being far away from home.
Nigerian Festival UK will be open from 11am until 7pm.
The event is free to attend but registration is required.
