Women’s football: Millwall Lionesses unbeaten run rolls on after win at Aston Villa

Two goals by Charlie Devlin in the final 20 minutes secured a 2-0 win for Millwall Lionesses at Aston Villa on Sunday.

The South Londoners are closing in on a calendar year unbeaten in WSL 2. Lee Burch’s side are back in action at home to London Bees on February 21.

Charlton Women go to Cardiff City in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Sunday. The Addicks lost 2-1 in the quarter-finals of the League Cup to Lewes last weekend.

South-East Division 1 leaders AFC Wimbledon smashed Haringey Borough Women 12-2 – with seven different scorers. Georgia Heasman plundered a hat-trick with braces for Hannah Billingham, Laura Quinn-Low and Hannah Searle. Rebecca Sargent, Jess Trimnell and Kelly-Jade Whelan completed the scoring.
