Johansen, McDonald, Seri and Onomah miss out on Fulham’s 25-man Premier League squad

Stefan Johansen, Kevin McDonald, Jean Michel Seri and Josh Onomah have not been included in Fulham’s 25-man Premier League squad.

It means the quartet can play no part for the west Londoners until January.

Johansen and McDonald had both been linked with exits in the last window.

Seri has proven to be an expensive flop since arriving from Nice in 2018 after the west London club had won promotion to the top flight. The Ivory Coast international was loaned out last season to Galatasaray.

Johansen’s two appearances in the current campaign have come in the EFL Cup. The Norwegian international has made 142 appearances since signing from Celtic – scoring 21 goals and 23 assists.

Fellow midfielder McDonald has clocked up 128 matches for the Whites. He has not made a senior outing in the current campaign and only featured 16 times last season in the Championship.

It has been claimed that Onomah’s omission is due to injury. The former Tottenham man finished the last campaign strongly and was rewarded with a new long-term contract after Fulham beat Brentford in August.
