Rowett will also not be in attendance for Wednesday’s fixture at Preston North End and the following weekend’s Den clash with Huddersfield.
The Lions chief clocked up 12 months in charge of the Lions on Wednesday.
Rowett reported mild symptoms this morning. He did not take training as normal and instead underwent a test.
