Professor Green backs Cadbury’s Christmas food bank appeal

Professor Green might have rapped that he’s Got It All, but he knows some don’t.

So he has headed to his local Trussell Trust food bank at the South London warehouse in Streatham, to learn about the important work carried out by staff and volunteers, before getting stuck in and packing food parcels.

This Christmas, Cadbury has partnered with the Trussell Trust, a charity which supports a network of food banks in the UK, to help bring a little bit of Christmas magic to people in need of support from food banks this winter.

When Secret Santas send chocolate secretly through the post to a friend or family member, Cadbury will also donate a second bar on your behalf, free of charge, to a food bank in the Trussell Trust’s network.

Professor Green said: “There’s something really special about sending a gift at Christmas anonymously, and this year not only can you send a treat to anyone in the UK for free, but Cadbury has partnered with the Trussell Trust to bring a little bit of Christmas magic to people who use food banks at this time of year.

“I’ve partnered with Cadbury because I really want the nation to get involved and to help one another. We all rely on others and it’s crucial we have others in our thoughts – especially during these crazy times.

“I’ve had the pleasure of working with the Trussell Trust on a few occasions now and I am truly blown away by what they do and the kindness and compassion of their volunteers. So, if you are able to get involved, please do consider becoming a Secret Santa this Christmas.”
