Women’s football: Charlton-Palace postponed as Eagles individuals forced to self-isolate

Crystal Palace Women were forced to postpone Sunday’s trip to Charlton Athletic due to a number of individuals self-isolating due to Covid-19.

A new date will be arranged for the fixture – which had been due to be the final action of 2020 for both clubs in the FA Women’s Championship.

The Eagles have been drawn at home to Leicester City in the quarter-finals of the Women’s League Cup.

The tie is set to take place on January 13.

Charlton are set to resume league action on January 10 with a home fixture against Blackburn Rovers. Palace play the same day at London City.

The Addicks are bottom of the standings but are only two points behind London Bees and have two matches in hand.
