Neil Harris: My Millwall side want to be in the record books by winning at Barnsley

Neil Harris says his Millwall side are hugely motivated to equal a club record at Barnsley on Saturday.

A victory at Oakwell would be the Lions’ sixth successive away league victory in a row – the previous best sequence set in the 2008-09 season.

Harris said: “Five wins in a row is an unbelievable achievement at any level of football. It is a massive ask at the level we are at.

“It is an awesome achievement, especially on the back of the away games we didn’t win. But we want six. The players want six. We spoke about it straight after the Brentford match.

“I want another record for this group, another achievement. I want this group in the record books for yet another thing.

“Barnsley are fighting for their lives and trying to evolve as a club as a new manager. The last thing they will want is Millwall rolling into town on Saturday.”
