Jake Cooper could make Millwall return next weekend for Blackburn Rovers match

BY ALEX GRACE
Jake Cooper could feature for Millwall in next weekend’s home game against Blackburn Rovers.
The big defender, who has twice dislocated his shoulder this season, was doing some fitness work before Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at Barnsley.

“I think he has a chance of featuring next week – probably the back end of the week if all goes to plan,” said Rowett.

“We’ve had the good news that he doesn’t need surgery. However, running up and down the pitch is one thing but jostling with someone or a game like today would have been far too big a test for that type of thing, a very physical game. So hopefully he’ll be okay for next week at some point.”
Rowett was also asked whether any of his other injured charges had  a chance for next week.
“Doesn’t look like it at the moment. That’s been our challenge with the squad we’ve got, we’ve got a lot of young players who are inexperienced on the bench and the opportunities to change it have been a little bit limited.
“Every squad is going through it, some will get hit harder than others. It’s down to how you cope with it that will define if you have a little push towards the end of the season or not.”

Can you ask G Rowett WHY OH WHY does he insist in playing Woods? Who hasn’t assisted or scored for Millwall in all of the time he has been there. He can’t tackle , head a ball ,run or pass a ball forward. Also why as Danny Mac been dropped?
