Northampton boss Brady: We’ll relish underdog tag at Charlton Athletic

Northampton Town manager Jon Brady says they will revel in their underdog status in tonight’s match at Charlton Athletic.

The Cobblers are on a two-game winning streak as they head to The Valley and impressed in a 4-1 victory over Portsmouth at Sixfields Stadium on Saturday.

Brady told Northampton’s official website: “We are the underdogs again. Charlton may be lacking in form but they are an ex-Premier League team and they are expected to be in the play-offs at the very least.

“We’ve got nothing to fear. We’ve shown that we can beat top teams and we will be giving it our all.

“We have got confidence and belief in what we do – and our next challenge is to win away from home. We are looking a good goal threat now, home and away, but we’ve achieved nothing yet. The players are better connected and that has really helped the performances.”
