Charlton Athletic boss explains Jake Forster-Caskey’s absence
Charlton Athletic manager Lee Bowyer has explained Jake Forster-Caskey’s absence from his matchday squad for today’s home game against Shrewsbury Town.
The midfielder is the only change for the Addicks as they chase back-to-back league wins at The Valley.
Bowyer told Valley Pass: “Jake has a couple of knocks, nothing serious.
“It is one of them risk and reward, we’ve got a lot of games to play in a short space of time. The right thing to do is let his body recover and bring Pratley into the middle of the park.”
