Crystal Palace defender linked with summer move to Turkish giants

Crystal Palace defender Patrick van Aanholt has reportedly been offered a three-year contract by Galatasaray.

The Dutch left-back is due to be a free agent at the end of June and has yet to agree a contract extension to keep him in SE25.

The Daily Mail claim that Van Aanholt has strong interest from Galatasaray and that the Turkish club are tempting the former Chelsea man with a “sharp increase” on his wages at Palace.

The paper describe the 30-year-old’s negotiations with the Eagles as “at an impasse”.

Palace have a major chunk of their squad who are in the final months of their contract.
