Goldsmiths students open exhibition in Deptford shop fronts

Goldsmiths students who are studying fine art and curating have opened an exhibition in shop fronts across Deptford.

The exhibition will run until April 19 and features work by 37 students at the university, including Gabriele Zemaityte, Pawel Dziadur, Georgia Noble and Diana Zrnic.

The project began as an effort to make the participating artists’ work available to Deptford’s communities when local art spaces had to shut due to the pandemic.

Businesses that will exhibit works in their windows from April 12 include Bohemians Hairdressers, Deptford X studios, Terry’s hardware store, Set project space, Art Hub studios, Marks Kitchen and Bar, Job Centre Bar Some works will also exist on Deptford High Street.
