Plymouth v Charlton team line-ups: Ryan Inniss rested as Watson and Famewo start

Ben Watson is one of two changes made by Charlton Athletic boss Nigel Adkins for tonight’s League One match at Plymouth Argyle – with Ryan Inniss rested.

The Addicks are unbeaten in the eight games that former Crystal Palace centre-back Inniss has played for them this season – winning seven of them and keeping six clean sheets – but he completely misses out at Home Park with Norwich loanee Akin Famewo taking his place.

Inniss had played the full 90 minutes in the last three matches. Famewo makes his first start since the 2-2 draw at AFC Wimbledon on March 20.

And there is also a start for Watson, who came on for the final half hour of Saturday’s 0-0 draw with Ipswich at The Valley. Darren Pratley, who made way for him at the weekend, drops to the bench.

Charlton are boosted by the return of Chuks Aneke from a groin problem and his inclusion means Ronnie Schwartz does not make the matchday 18.

The South Londoners are without Conor Washington (hamstring) and Ian Maatsen (hip).

Charlton: Amos, Matthews, Famewo, Pearce, Purrington, Forster-Caskey, Watson, Gilbey, Millar, Jaiyesimi, Stockley. Subs: Maynard-Brewer, Gunter, Oshilaja, Aneke, Shinnie, Pratley, Morgan.
