AFC Wimbledon denied win as former Charlton man on target

AFC Wimbledon were held to a 1-1 draw by Scunthorpe United today – with former Charlton striker Lee Novak cancelling out Will Nightingale’s early headed opener.

The result leaves the Dons 20th in the League One table.

Harry Forrester, who provided the assist for Nightingale’s goal, hit the crossbar at 1-0 while Dean Parrett had his celebrations cut short by a linesman’s flag.
