Trio voted into Charlton’s Hall Of Fame

Jason Euell, Johnny Summers and Bert Turner have been voted into Charlton’s Hall Of Fame, which is housed in the club’s museum.

Euell, inset, was promoted to first-team coach shortly after Nigel Adkins was appointed Addicks manager in March. He received 40 per cent of the vote for the period between 1981 and the present day to finish ahead of French striker Yann Kermorgant and full-back John Humphrey.

Lambeth-born Euell is the club’s leading Premier League scorer after joining for a club record fee from Wimbledon in 2001.

Summers, who scored 100 goals for Charlton in 171 matches, took 51 per cent of the vote for the period between 1950 and 1980 with Peter Reeves and Bob Curtis second and third respectively.

Turner picked up 39 per cent of the vote for the pre-1950s category. Jimmy Oakes was second with Scott Kingsley in third spot.

Turner was a key part of Jimmy Seed’s promotion-winning squad in the 1930s.
