Crystal Palace reportedly pull out of talks with Nuno Espirito Santo due to ‘demands’

Crystal Palace have ended their pursuit of Nuno Espirito Santo because of concerns over his demands.

The South London club have been looking for a new manager after Roy Hodgson stepped down after four years in charge at Selhurst Park.

The Portuguese coach left Wolves three weeks ago and was reportedly on the verge of becoming the next Eagles boss.

However the Daily Mail are reporting that club officials pulled the plug on their attempts to make the 47-year-old their new manager on Tuesday night.

Nuno is claimed to have made a series of demands that the Eagles hierarchy were not prepared to allow.

The former Porto manager has also been linked with the vacant Everton and Tottenham jobs but Crystal Palace had been hopeful of tying up a deal.

The Eagles want to fill their managerial vacancy as a matter of urgency and are reportedly interested in Steve Cooper and Sean Dyche.
