Catford Wanderers tennis round-up: Ladies beat Gravesham 4-0

Catford Wanderers ladies ran out 4-0 winners at home to Gravesham in their Second Division clash.

First pair Kathy Aldridge and Stephanie James won the opening set in both matches but were pinned back in the second set before the tie-breaks came to their rescue.

Julia Garling and Lilla Brown won both ties in straight sets.

Catford men’s veteran’s second team – Adam Savage , Tony Saeed , Greg Gustard and John Norris – suffered a 4-0 home defeat against Oakwood.

Junior Annis Frimpong overcame her Shooters Hill opponent 6-2 6-2 to qualify for the North Kent girls’ 14-and-under semi-final.
