Liverpool in talks to sell former Charlton loanee Liam Millar

Liverpool are reportedly in talks to sell Liam Millar to Basel. The Canadian international spent the second half of the 2020-21 season on loan at Charlton Athletic.

Addicks boss Nigel Adkins told the South London Press recently that he would be keen on Millar returning to SE7 if he did not get fixed up at a higher level.

The Athletic say that Liverpool value Millar at £2million and will insist on a chunky sell-on clause.

They also claim that the Addicks, Odense, New York Red Bulls and Blackpool are all interested in Millar.

Millar scored three goals in 27 appearances for Charlton last season.
