Crystal Palace to face Watford at Selhurst Park on August 7 – final friendly before Premier League season starts

Crystal Palace will complete their pre-season preparations by hosting Watford in a friendly at Selhurst Park – seven days before the start of the new Premier League season.

The Eagles will welcome the Hornets to Selhurst Park on August 7 at 3pm.

Watford are once again a Premier League club after promotion from the Championship last season.

The two sides are familiar adversaries, with Palace holdings wins over them in the 2016 FA Cup semi-final and 2013 Championship play-off final.

The Eagles have already confirmed friendlies against Portsmouth (July 16), Walsall (July 17), Stevenage (Palace XI, July 23), Ipswich Town (July 24) and Charlton Athletic (July 27).
