Brentford ‘bid’ for AFC Wimbledon youngster Cox
Brentford have reportedly submitted a bid for AFC Wimbledon goalkeeper Matthew Cox.
Cox is yet to make a senior appearance for the Dons but was named on the bench for 17 League One games last season.
The 18-year-old signed his first professional contract at Plough Lane in May 2020. Head coach Mark Robinson has previously talked about the young stopper going out on loan to gain first-team experience.
Football Insider claim the Bees have made a formal bid for the youngster.
Fellow Premier League duo Norwich and Aston Villa have also been linked with Cox.
