Crystal Palace and Newcastle ‘scrapping’ for Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher

Conor Gallagher will reportedly be allowed out on loan by Chelsea – with Crystal Palace and Newcastle scrapping for him.

The 21-year-old spent the 2020-21 campaign on loan at West Bromwich Albion, where he made 30 appearances and scored two goals at The Hawthorns.

The Sun are reporting that the Eagles are keen on taking him for the season, with Steve Bruce’s side also interested.

They add that Chelsea do not want to sell Gallagher this summer.

Gallagher is capped at England U17, U18, U19, U20 and U21 level.

The midfielder has never made a senior appearance for Thomas Tuchel’s side after signing for the west London club when he was eight.
