Dons striker David Fisher goes out on loan again to Hampton & Richmond after summer contract signing

AFC Wimbledon striker David Fisher has signed for Hampton & Richmond on loan.
The 19-year-old signed a pro contract with the Dons earlier this summer.
Speaking to AFC Wimbledon’s club website, head coach Mark Robinson said: “David will be returning to Hampton & Richmond as he was enjoying a good loan spell there before Covid-19 stopped their season.
“As we experienced last week, they are a very good side who play in a way that is aligned to what we do. Gary McCann, Hampton’s manager, is excellent, and I have got to know him well over the past two years.
“I am therefore confident David will get the mixture of positive support and reality he needs to develop further.”
Loans manager, Michael Hamilton added: “David had a very successful time at Hampton last season and it was always the plan for him to return.
“Again, the location of Hampton makes it easy for David to split his time between the two clubs, and now it’s about David fully focusing on helping Hampton to achieve their ambitions of fighting for promotion.
“I’d like to give a special mention to Gary McCann, who has been super professional in the way these agreements have been conducted. He’s also very much aware of the development requirements of David for this season.”
