Princesses head to Balham and Tooting Common to bring joy to children this summer

A host of princesses are heading to Balham High Street and Tooting Common to bring joy to children after a tough year of Covid restrictions.

A free-to-attend event on Wednesday, August 25 will be hosted by party entertainment business Snow Princess Parties and is set to include live singing, dancing and photo opportunities with five princesses.

Lydia Welsh, Founder of Snow Princess Parties said: “During lockdown last year, we couldn’t run our normal parties so we decided to do a few small ‘Princess Parades’ in local streets in Berkshire.

“These proved so popular and brought smiles to so many faces.

“We have now returned to running in-person parties, conducting over 60 per month between all of us but we decided that the ‘Princess Parade’ could still play an important role in spreading some joy, whilst providing a focus for children and their parents on that day.

“We can’t wait to share music, dancing and just general happiness with all those who come out to see us on August 25.”

The timings will be:

  • 12pm – 1pm: Balham High Street
  • 1.30pm – 2pm: Tooting Common
