QPR boss asked about transfer link to Watford striker

Mark Warburton is hopeful Queens Park Rangers can add one more signing before the transfer window shuts – but he would not be drawn into reports surrounding Andre Gray.
The Watford striker has been linked with a move to the R’s and played under Warburton in the past when they were at Brentford.
Swansea City are also rumoured to be interested as Russell Martin suggested he was an admirer of Gray, who has yet to feature for the Hornets in the Premier League this season following promotion.
While Warburton believes QPR have had a “really good” transfer window, he would not be drawn into the rumours.
He said: “Teams know we want to play football, and they are going to try and stop us playing football. We need to have that outlet of pace and power in behind, so if that opportunity arises then we’ll move, if we can, obviously within the confines of the budget.
“We’ve had a really good transfer window, we’ve done a lot of good business early, but if another opportunity arises, in the next three days or something, then hopefully we can make that move.”
Asked about Gray, Warburton added: “I’m never going to talk about another player and another club’s player. We’ve got to look at what options are available.
“The last two days of the window, you’ve seen already, there’s some staggering moves going ahead, some staggering amounts being paid, and that filters down the pyramid. At the same time, it means a lot of the smaller clubs are having to feel the implications of that.
“Three days [remaining], let’s see what comes available.”
