Charlton Athletic linked with deadline day move for Morecambe defender

Charlton are reportedly interested in making a late move for Morecambe captain Sam Lavelle.
Lavelle has made 161 appearances and scored four goals since signing for the Shrimps in 2017 from Bolton Wanderers.
The 24-year-old has been linked with a move to Wycombe Wanderers this summer but the Chairboys haven’t been able to agree a fee.
Now Alan Nixon, a journalist for The Sun, is reporting that the Addicks have turned their attention to Lavelle as they look to further bolster their defence.
Lavelle is capped at Scotland U18 and U19 level.
