Millwall striker misses West Bromwich Albion fixture – with knee injury expected to sideline him in the short term

Benik Afobe is out of Millwall’s match at West Bromwich Albion – with the on-loan Stoke City striker expected to be sidelined for a couple of weeks.

The 28-year-old has a knee injury.

Although nothing major, it has ruled him out of this weekend’s match at The Hawthorns.

Afobe has made six appearances for the Lions this season and scored twice.

He has started all five of their Championship matches.

The Lions have had a number of first-teamers unavailable with the likes of Ryan Leonard, Mason Bennett, Shaun Hutchinson and Danny McNamara all recovering from knocks.

  • We need to get some more robust players ,just a few games in and half the team is injured, looks like last season when it really held us back ,too many injuries .
