Showcase of household artwork at Oxo Tower

Celebrate London Design Festival at Oxo Tower Wharf London Design Festival will run from 18-26 September this year.

Our programmes are a bit quieter than in usual years, but we hope the city wide celebration of all things design and craft will bring London’s creative scene back to life and spark an upward trajectory for times to come!

At gallery@oxo for London Design Festival, we have Continuum, a collaboration of MA and PhD alumni makers from the UCA network in Farnham, showcasing ceramics, textiles, jewellery, glass, metal works and sculpture, opening 22 Sept: CTA – see the event here:

Just a stones-throw from Oxo Tower Wharf, on the Observation Point, VELUX are busy building ‘The Cube’ which is a London Design Festival Special Project for 2021 and will be open to visit from 18 Sept.

The Cube is artistic installation that will act as a sanctuary for Londoners to restore and relax, to enjoy some natural light and fresh air next to the River Thames.

Velux CubeBuilt by VELUX® and designed by Danish architecture firm, Henning Larsen, them unique installation will feature a mosaic of roof windows. The installation will feature VELUX roof lights and use solar power to provide energy for charging points.

Head down to Oxo Tower Wharf on London’s South Bank this September, to immerse yourself in all things crafts and design – for the first time since 2019! We’ll see you there.
