Crystal Palace told to pay just £900k to West Brom for Nathan Ferguson

Crystal Palace will reportedly have to pay West Bromwich Albion a tribunal fee of just £900,000 for Nathan Ferguson.

Ferguson signed for the Eagles in 2020 from the Baggies. Persistent injuries have meant he is yet to make an appearance for the South London club.

Crystal Palace had initially agreed an £8million deal for the 19-year-old but then the medical flagged up a major knee problem  that saw them attempt to renegotiate terms.

West Brom were unwilling to budge on the initial figure and Ferguson was out of contract when he made the switch to the SE25 outfitin July 2020.

The Athletic are reporting that there is no right to appeal for West Brom and Crystal Palace will now pay the much lower tribunal fee which has been set.

Ferguson has returned to light training for Crystal Palace, including outdoor running, as he continues his road to recovery.
