Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson facing familiar opposition on opening day of the 2018-19 season
BY RICHARD CAWLEY
Crystal Palace will face Fulham when they kick off the 2018-19 season.
The match sees Eagles boss Roy Hodgson facing his old club, who he guided to the Europa League final in 2010.
The derby is scheduled for August 11, although fixtures are subject to change once TV companies select their first tranche of games to be screened.
Palace follow up with a home fixture against Liverpool, another of his former sides, on August 18.
The Eagles finish the month with a trip to Watford’s Vicarage Road on August 25.
