“But they are our own errors, we must take care of the football and when we do that, we look a very good team.
“If we step up another gear, we can really hurt teams, but we lacked a little bit of quality in the final third. It is a big result for us. They are a good team, so to get a clean sheet is important. They will hurt many teams; they are very well managed, and they are a great side to take points off.
“We could exploit Luton down the sides. The early forward ball, with the timed run – the keeper really made a decision for Chris [Willock] but he has to execute it and he did that really well.
“I was delighted to get that goal and to go in at the break ahead with the clean sheet. We had given away two or three decent chances but in the second half we restricted them.
“They are a good team. We managed the game well, kept the clean sheet and showed a real physical compactness about our defence at the end of the game. It’s an important three points.”
