Dulwich Runners women and senior men compete at London Cross County Championships
Dulwich Runners’ women finished 15th out of 29 teams at the London Cross Country Championships at Parliament Hill, writes Jonathan Whittaker.
Rebecca Schulleri finished in 25:17 (52nd) – narrowly ahead of Kay Sheedy (25:21, 56th). Katie Styles (26:12, 81st) and Clare Whitaker (26:40, 95th) completed the team scoring.
There were also debuts for Catherine Buglass (29:33, 168th) and Jenny Bomers (37:30, 270th).
Dulwich had 23 entrants in the senior men’s race.

Ed Chuck and Jack Ramm efficiently moved their way through the field after the first hill to position themselves around the top 10.
Chuck started the final lap in fourth place and despite gaining ground on the next runner, had to be content just missing the podium in a time of 35:29.
Ramm completed the top 10 in 35:47 – his best performance in a major competition.
Rob Armstrong had a top-50 performance in 38:33 (46th).
Cross country debutant Sean Cordon completed the team scoring in 40:27 (77th) just pipping Jon Phillips (40:37) and Adrian Russell (40:40) who finished 81st and 82nd respectively.
