Iceland’s winter cheer campaign celebrates community of older residents

There are approx. 8,000 people in the Lambeth area who solely rely on the state pension.

This Christmas, Iceland Foods have partnered with Rothesay Foundation and Age UK Lambeth to celebrate this community of older residents, during a financially difficult time for them.

To make sure everyone can enjoy Christmas, Iceland is launching the Lambeth Winter Cheer campaign.

This initiative will give any residents who are living independently or with a carer and relying solely on a State Pension a £30 Iceland gift voucher to spend in their local Iceland store throughout December.

Customers will be able to apply for a voucher with Age UK Lambeth by Friday 31st December 2021.

  • Lower Marsh
  • Walworth
  • Camberwell
  • Stockwell
  • Brixton
  • Clapham
  • Old Kent Food Warehouse

We are encouraging customers to use the voucher throughout December, however the vouchers will be available to redeem in store until 1st November 2022.

Who are Age UK Lambeth and Rothesay Foundation?

Age UK Lambeth is an independent local charity that has worked in the community to help older people, their families and carers for over 70 years.

Their mission is to support older people in Lambeth to live enriched, productive and purposeful lives but challenging the stigma of ageing, reducing social isolation and ensuring they get the right support at the right time.

The Rothesay Foundation was established in 2019 by Rothesay, the UK’s largest specialist pensions insurer.

The Foundation’s mission is to help secure and improve the quality of life of older people in need in the UK, enabling them to live their lives in a happy, safe and fulfilling way.

The Foundation partners with charities and other organisations to make this possible, helping them to deliver their vital work in this area.
