New Year’s Eve parties south of the river

Looking to see in the new year south of the river? Look no further than Pop Brixton and Peckham Levels.

Both venues are hosting NYE parties, where guests can expect everything from DJs spinning Latin American sounds to a Sudanese funk band playing soul-infused afrobeat.

Plus there’ll be fantastic street food on offer from each venue’s resident traders.

To bring in the new year Pop Brixton have gathered together some of their nearest and dearest from the Movimientos familia to bring you a tropical dance party to warm the soul and fire the belly.

DJs Cal Jader, Henry Bravo, Amancai and Bushbbi will be playing the best selection of Latin American sounds and Caribbean bits to dance your way into the new year.

Peckham Levels is hosting a New Year’s Eve party with live music and DJs at their new venue, Well Seasoned.

Expect to hear pioneering, genre-forming and obscure records from The Beirut Groove Collective DJ crew and friends at this all-nighter.

The event will also feature a live performance from London-based Sudanese band The Scorpios, who’ll be serving up a set of funk and soul-infused afrobeat, melded with Arabic rhythms.

Peckham Levels Cocktail specialists Near and Far are also bringing in the New Year.

For this Studio 54 party, expect bling, beaded curtains, gold sequin drapes and mirror balls aplenty, plus DJs playing the best in disco, funk and soul, bucket loads of confetti, cocktails, and spectacular views of the London skyline and New Year’s fireworks.

Dressing up is encouraged, but not essential.

The Raindrop Fest Presents: Late Night NYE Party will see some of London’s Best Party DJ’s including Martin 2 Smoove and special guests spinning the very best throwback hits from the 90’s and 00’s.

As well as having every genre covered there will be great giveaways, crazy inflatables and a NYE countdown.
