Tom Bradshaw set for scan today on injured knee – but Lions also set to scan two other players as well

Tom Bradshaw is set to have a scan today to discover the full extent of his knee injury.

The Millwall striker came off with the problem in the first half of Saturday’s 1-0 loss to Nottingham Forest at The Den.

Liverpool loanee Sheyi Ojo also did not reappear for the second period after damaging his ankle.

“We have got a couple of scans booked for today,” said Rowett. “My assumption is Sheyi and Tom will got for scans. But we’ve also got Murray Wallace, who felt his shoulder give way a little bit during the game. So we might send him for the scan and put someone else’s for tomorrow.

“We’ve got a couple of moving parts but by the end of today we should have a little more clarity on one or two.

“The general feel of the medical team is that Tom’s doesn’t look great. Sheyi looks like an ankle strain, a quite high ankle strain, to what degree is difficult to tell. But he hasn’t presented quite as badly today. We’re hoping that is not too serious.

“Maybe wrongly but with Tom we’re just expecting the worse because he felt something pop and amazingly he was able to carry on – which shows Bradders’ character. He nearly scored after that. He could tell something wasn’t right.

“We did all the tests afterwards and there was an amount of give in the knee which suggests there has been some serious damage to one of the ligaments. But that’s not definitive, until it’s been scanned.”
