Do you know of an empty house in Croydon? Tell us its location?

We are working with Croydon council to tackle the problems arising from long-term empty properties.

Can you report empty and abandoned properties in your area to us via our website: www.ukhousingcrisis.org.uk or report it @ukhousingcrisis.org.uk or text: 07823 505914

Due to data protection, the council is unable to provide us with the personal contact details or the location of the empty properties in Croydon.

However, if readers contact us with the location of empty properties then we can approach the council and land registry for the required information.

Governments figures for Croydon’s show 1,648 long-term empty properties and 673 empty 2nd homes = 1 in every 70 homes out of use.

Everyone at the South London Press thanks you for your continued support.

Former Housing Secretary Robert Jenrick has encouraged everyone in the country who can afford to do so to buy a newspaper, and told the Downing Street press briefing:

“A FREE COUNTRY NEEDS A FREE PRESS, AND THE NEWSPAPERS OF OUR COUNTRY ARE UNDER SIGNIFICANT FINANCIAL PRESSURE”

If you can afford to do so, we would be so grateful if you can make a donation which will allow us to continue to bring stories to you, both in print and online. Or please make cheques payable to “MSI Media Limited” and send by post to South London Press, Unit 112, 160 Bromley Road, Catford, London SE6 2NZ
