Second teenager charged with New Cross murder

A second teenager has been charged with the murder of Teon Campbell-Pitter in New Cross.

Teon, who was 16, was fatally stabbed in Angus Street on Wednesday, April 13.

A 15-year-old boy was arrested on Monday and was charged on Tuesday with Teon’s murder.

He was due to appear in custody at Bromley Magistrates’ Court later the same afternoon.

A second 15-year-old boy had previously been charged with murder and appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

He was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey tomorrow.

Detectives are not seeking any further suspects.
