Charlton Athletic to play pre-season friendlies against Dartford and Sutton United
Charlton Athletic have announced two more pre-season friendlies prior to their 2022-23 League One season getting underway.
The Addicks will head to Princes Park to face Dartford on July 9 – the second time they have faced the National League South side in the past two years.
The South London club triumphed 2-1 in the same fixture last year with goals from Diallang Jaiyesimi and Josh Davison.
The Addicks will then make the trip to the VBS Community Stadium to take on League Two Sutton United – who reached the EFL Trophy final last season – on July 16.
The match in mid-July will be the first time the two clubs have faced each other.
Charlton confirmed last week that they will be jetting off to Spain for a pre-season camp before hosting Championship outfit Swansea City at The Valley on July 23.
