Derby County prospect agrees five-year contract at Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace have signed Malcom Ebiowei from Derby County.

The 18-year-old’s contract at Pride Park expires on July 1. He has agreed a five-year deal with the Eagles that will keep him at the club until 2027.

The youngster follows in the footsteps of team-mate Luke Plange, who signed for the South London club from Derby in the January transfer window.

Ebiowei told Crystal Palace’s website: “I’m incredibly excited about the prospect of joining Palace, as they have an incredible squad and huge potential. I very much hope to contribute positively to the team this season.”

Chairman Steve Parish said: “I’m delighted that Malcolm has chosen Crystal Palace as the best place to continue his development, following his impressive breakthrough into senior football in recent months.

“He is a highly coveted young player, and we very much expect to provide a platform for him to flourish at the highest level.”
