Huddersfield Town move for released Millwall winger

Former Millwall winger Connor Mahoney is reportedly set to sign for Huddersfield Town.

Alan Nixon, via his Patreon site, has claimed that Mahoney, 25, has agreed a two-year contract with last season’s beaten Championship play-off finalists.

He adds that Mahoney wants more game time after struggling to get in a look in during his final campaign with the Lions.

Mahoney made 68 appearances for Millwall but played just 203 minutes of league football last season. He did not make their matchday squad for the final eight matches.

Our website reported in early April that the former Blackburn, Birmingham and AFC Bournemouth attacker would not be offered a contract extension.
