Dulwich Hamlet set sights on Farnborough FC as they continue build up to National League South season

Dulwich Hamlet head to Farnborough FC tomorrow (1pm) as they continue to build up for a August 6 start in National League South.

Hamlet were in action on Tuesday night  as they lost 3-1 at home to Millwall U23s. Kalvin Kalala scored for the hosts with Tom Leahy, Seb Drozd and Kamarl Grant on target for the Lions.

Striker Kalala has signed a one-year deal with Dulwich following a successful trial. He played for Cheltenham and Torquay before heading back to his native France, returning to England to sign for Dartford in December.

Dulwich have also confirmed that Andre Blackman has re-signed for the 2022-23 campaign.

Dulwich drew 0-0 with Arsenal U23s on Saturday in the first meeting of the two clubs since 1919 in front of a crowd of 1,661 at Champion Hill.

Nana Owusu hit the bar for Hamlet in the 15th minute before keeper Charlie Grainger had to make a number of impressive saves.

Arsenal’s Charlie Patino was a threat and was also denied by the woodwork inside the opening half hour.

Crystal Palace full-back Rhys Hannam has joined Bromley on a season-long loan.

The 21-year-old joined the Eagles in 2020 after being released by West Ham United. He won the U23 Player of the Season in 2021.

“I’ve really enjoyed my time at Palace since joining two years ago and am now looking forward to this opportunity to play senior football with Bromley.” said Hannam, whose deal at Palace runs until at least 2023, with the option for a further year.

“Last season was a challenge in my career but it taught me a lot and I’ve worked hard to be ready for this opportunity now. I can’t wait to get going.”

Tooting & Mitcham play a friendly at Colliers Wood United tomorrow (3pm) before hosting Hendon on July 26 (7.45pm).

Fisher are at home against Greenways tomorrow (3pm).
