Non-league round up: Dulwich stay unbeaten as Bromley beat 10-man Gulls

Dulwich Hamlet extended their unbeaten start in National League South to three matches with a 1-1 draw at Concord Rangers on Tuesday night.

Dan Smith put the visitors into a 68th minute lead, tapping home after Jayden Clarke’s initial shot was only parried.

But Ricky Modeste equalised for the Beach Boys in the 76th minute.

Dulwich, seventh in the early standings, are at home to Slough Town tomorrow.

Louis Dennis earned Bromley a first win of the National League campaign as Andy Woodman’s side defeated Torquay United at Hayes Lane on Tuesday.

The Gulls had Ross Marshall dismissed just past the hour mark and Dennis struck home the only goal in the 72nd minute.

Bromley head to Aldershot Town tomorrow.

Welling United also chalked up their first league victory of the new season as they were midweek winners over Cheshunt. Tyrique Hyde and Ade Azeez were on target for Warren Feeney’s outfit.

Dajon Golding cut the deficit but the visitors’ prospects of a comeback were not aided by a red card for Joe Re.

The Wings head to Hemel Hempstead Town tomorrow.

Tooting & Mitcham picked up their first point in the Isthmian League South Central Division after a 0-0 stalemate at home to Merstham.

They are in FA Cup preliminary round action tomorrow with a home tie against VCD Athletic.

Fisher lost 1-0 at home to Erith Town on Tuesday night with Steadman Callender’s 24th minute goal settling the contest.

They have taken one point from a possible nine and that slow start sees them 18th in the 20-team SCEFL Premier Division.

The Fish are at home to Sittingbourne in the FA Cup preliminary round tomorrow.
