Styles match as Millwall complete loan deal for Barnsley player

Millwall have completed the loan signing of Barnsley’s Callum Styles.

The 22-year-old extended his contract with the Tykes until the summer of 2025 before being cleared to join the South London club.

But our publication has been told there is an option for the Lions to make Styles’ stay in SE16 a permanent one.

Styles becomes Millwall’s eighth signing of the summer transfer window and is eligible to make his debut in tomorrow’s home fixture against Cardiff City.

The Hungarian international is comfortable in both a central midfield and as a left-sided wing-back.

Styles headed down last night for his medical and Millwall were confident they had submitted all the paperwork in time. But they had to wait until this morning to get official confirmation from the EFL.
