Bromley keep climbing National League table – Bugiel and Raymond net in win over Barrow

BY RICHARD CAWLEY

Omar Bugiel and Frankie Raymond were on target for Bromley as they beat Barrow 2-1 in the National League on Saturday.

The result moves Neil Smith’s side up to 16th in the table. They have won three of their last four – a significant upturn since a 5-0 mauling at Solihull Moors towards the end of September.

Bugiel headed home in the seventh minute. He had a good chance early in the second half to make it two, but headed George Porter’s cross into the arms of Andrew Firth.

Erico De Sousa produced a 20-yard strike past Ravens keeper David Gregory to bring Barrow back into the contest at Hayes Lane.

Raymond’s 74th-minute free-kick crept into the bottom corner to seal the three points for the hosts.
