Jem Karacan joins Millwall scouting team

Jem Karacan has returned to Millwall as part of the club’s scouting team.

The 33-year-old had two spells with the Lions as a player.

Catford-born Karacan joined the South London club on loan from Reading in March 2008. Initially a short-term deal, the midfielder’s stay was extended until the end of the season.

Karacan was signed by then Millwall boss Neil Harris in August 2018 but left the following January after making six appearances. He had been a free agent after leaving Bolton Wanderers at the start of that summer.

The former Wimbledon youngster penned a deal with non-league Radliffe in July.
