Dillian Whyte’s next heavyweight opponent to be revealed this afternoon

BY RICHARD CAWLEY

Dillian Whyte’s next opponent is set to be announced this afternoon at a London press conference.

Matchroom Boxing, who promote the Brixton heavyweight, have sent out an invite for media to attend a 1.30pm gathering.

It is widely expected that Whyte, ranked highly by all the world governing bodies, will rematch against Dereck Chisora in December at Greenwich’s 02 Arena.

Chisora recently signed a managerial deal with Bermondsey’s two-weight world champion David Haye.

Whyte won a split decision over Chisora in December 2016.
