Pair could help solve South Norwood killing
Police investigating a murder in South Norwood are releasing images of two men who may hold information which could help their enquiries.
Abdul Rahman was found unresponsive outside an Aldi store in Station Road on Sunday, August 7, at around 5.30am. Emergency services pronounced him dead at the scene.
Three men have been charged with murder in relation to this incident. They have been remanded in custody and are expected to stand trial in July 2023.
But officers are keen to speak to two men who were in the area and who may have seen Abdul in the hours before he died.
Detective Chief Inspector Wayne Jolley, from Specialist Crime, said: “Our investigation is progressing well but we believe these two men may have information which could assist us further.
“We want to be very clear that these individuals are not suspects, but we know they were in the area of Station Road, Selhurst Road and High Street between about 8.30pm on Saturday, August 6 and 5.50am the following morning.
“The information they hold could be vital to us getting justice for Abdul. If anyone recognises them, please get in touch as soon as possible.”
