QPR set to sign Bournemouth attacker on loan

QPR are set to sign Bournemouth forward Jamal Lowe on loan for the rest of the 2022-23 season.

The 28-year-old forward has only featured four times for the Cherries this season since they won promotion back to the Premier League.

QPR are currently 12th in the Championship under Neil Critchley. Lowe will become the first signing under the former Blackpool boss at Loftus Road.

Norwich City were also reportedly in the running to sign Lowe, however, the South London Press understands that the former Wigan and Barnet man will now spend the rest of the campaign with the Hoops.

Lowe scored eight times in 40 outings for Bournemouth since joining from Swansea last season.

He has bagged 27 goals and recorded seven assists in 127 Championship appearances.

Lowe left Portsmouth in 2019 after 29 goals in 119 outings.

QPR were knocked out of the FA Cup last weekend after a 2-1 defeat away to League One side Fleetwood.
