Greenwich heavyweight talent Daniel Dubois to face Cojanu in Brentwood

BY RICHARD CAWLEY

Exciting talent Daniel Dubois is set to have  his fourth fight of 2018 when he faces Californian-based Romanian Razvan Cojanu at the Brentwood Centre on December 15.

Greenwich heavyweight Dubois, 21, extended his undefeated record to nine wins in October but was taken to points for the first time by highly durable American Kevin Johnson.

Cojanu is expected to provide a less obstinate foe. He was knocked out in two rounds by Luiz Ortiz in July. That was his first action since a unanimous points defeat to Joseph Parker in May 2017 when he challenged for the WBO world title.

Dubois is heavy handed and has amassed just 27 rounds since turning professional in April of last year.

Penge welterweight Bradley Skeete, 31, is set to be on the same bill. The former British champion does not have an opponent confirmed yet.
